Refund Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how Virequex Studio ("Virequex," "we," "us," or "our") handles fees, deposits, and refunds for the website design and user-interface consulting services we provide. Because our work is advisory and produced specifically for each client, this policy sets clear, fair expectations for both sides before any engagement begins.
1. Nature of the services
Our services are design and consulting: audits, layout planning, interface direction, responsive adaptation, and presentation guidance. Deliverables are prepared specifically for your project and reflect professional time already spent. This custom, time-based nature shapes how refunds work and is the reason unused portions, rather than completed work, are the focus of any refund.
2. Deposits
Many engagements begin with a deposit that reserves studio time and covers the initial audit and planning. Once we have begun that work, the deposit is earned to the extent of the time and effort applied. If you cancel before any work has started, the deposit is refundable minus any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
3. Refunds for work in progress
If you end an engagement partway through, you are charged for the work completed and the hours applied up to the cancellation date, and any remaining prepaid balance is returned to you. We will share a short summary of what was completed so the split is transparent. Completed and delivered deliverables are not refundable, because the value has already been transferred to you.
4. Hourly and audit work
For hourly consulting and for visual audits, fees correspond to time already spent and reports already prepared. Once an audit report or hourly session has been delivered, that portion is non-refundable. Unused, prepaid hours that have not yet been worked can be refunded on request.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us using the details below and describe the engagement and the reason. We review each request individually and respond within a reasonable time. Where a refund is due, we process it to the original payment method within a commercially reasonable period.
6. Situations outside a refund
Refunds do not cover dissatisfaction with subjective design taste after deliverables meeting the agreed brief have been provided, outcomes that depend on how our guidance is implemented by you or your developers, or delays caused by materials or feedback not being supplied on time. We would rather resolve concerns through revision within the agreed scope than through a refund, and we will always try that route first.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. The date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. The version in force at the time your engagement is confirmed is the one that applies to it.
